Over the years the CCRMA and its staff have participated in numerous events. These events promote partnership, recreation, tourism, beautification and higher education in the Rio Grande Valley.

GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY OF THE WILDLIFE FENCE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AT PORT ISABEL-CAMERON COUNTY AIRPORT
On February 2, 2022 the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Wildlife Fence Improvement that is underway at the Port Isabel-Cameron County Airport held place. The project consists of over 5 miles of fencing that will be replaced and upgraded.
